Voice Recognition and Visualization Mobile Apps Game for Training and Teaching Hearing Handicaps Children

This research introduced a mobile application (app) game for teaching hearing handicapped children. Hearing handicapped children are acknowledged to have problems for teaching and learning. Addressing the problems of teaching hearing handicapped children needs to take the advantages from the recent advanced mobile technology, such as mobile app game.


The researchers also proposed a design model for the development of mobile application game that can teach and train the hearing handicapped children to learn new knowledge and for speaking purposes. They also proposed the block diagram of the voice recognition mobile apps game design for hearing handicapped children. They adapted the mobile application that leverages some strategies from proven behavior change theories: increasing interest of learning, fostering motivation, self-efficacy and impacting handicapped peoples’ attitude to study.

    The mobile application game is very valuable for those children, especially the model that the researchers planed to develop, the application that will help the children to speak. Related to the mobile application game, did the children use it in the classroom or just for supporting device used outside classroom?

    Your review about the use of game application for handicapped children is very knowledgeable. You also explain how that game application can help students to have better listening and speaking ability. however, I find an ambiguous sentence that is " Addressing the problems of teaching hearing handicapped children needs to take the advantages from the recent advanced mobile technology, such as mobile app game". So, who needs the advantage of mobile technology?.

    1. Thanks for the comment Zahro. Based on my understanding, in overcoming the problem of teaching those children, we need technology. So that the Subject who needs the advantage technology is still the hearing handicapped children.
